Device and Technical Information

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Identify exactly what the production App and its SDKs collect. This may include device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, crash information, diagnostic information, log data, and usage information.

Location or Address Information

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Confirm whether AIPA collects, processes, stores, or transmits precise location, approximate location, typed property addresses, Google Places/Geocoding information, or other location-related information, and describe those practices accurately.

2. Potentially Sensitive Information

Assessment notes, photographs, or answers could contain or reveal sensitive information about a person, including information relating to mobility, disability, health conditions, medical equipment, or other personal circumstances.

Users should enter only information reasonably necessary for the assessment and should obtain appropriate permission before entering sensitive information about another person.

Where applicable law requires consent or another legal basis before AIPA processes sensitive information, AIPA will obtain or rely upon the legally appropriate authorization before processing that information.

LEGAL/DEVELOPER REVIEW REQUIRED: Confirm whether AIPA intentionally requests health-related information and whether additional consent mechanisms or privacy disclosures are required in jurisdictions where AIPA operates.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and administer accounts.
  • Provide AIPA assessments.
  • Store assessment progress.
  • Generate Action Lists.
  • Process and verify purchases.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Maintain and secure the App.
  • Diagnose technical problems.

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without providing any notice or consent required by applicable law.

4. Service Providers and Third Parties

We may use third-party service providers to operate portions of AIPA, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and data storage.
  • Authentication.
  • Payment processing.
  • Email delivery.
  • Analytics.
  • Crash reporting and diagnostics.
  • Mapping, address, Places, or geocoding services.
  • Customer support or other infrastructure.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for AIPA.

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Before publication, the development team should identify all production third-party SDKs, APIs, hosting providers, analytics services, authentication providers, crash-reporting tools, mapping/location services, and other processors and confirm what information each receives.

AIPA does not sell personal information as that term is defined by applicable privacy law unless this Policy is updated and any legally required choices or consent mechanisms are provided.

Assessment information and photographs are not intentionally provided to contractors or tradespeople merely because AIPA identifies a type of professional who might help. Users may choose to download or share their own assessment information.

5. Advertising and Tracking

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Confirm whether AIPA uses advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, targeted advertising, cookies or similar technologies, or shares information for advertising purposes.

If AIPA does not engage in those practices, the final Privacy Policy should say so accurately.

If those practices are introduced later, the Privacy Policy and any required consent or opt-out mechanisms must be updated before or when those practices begin.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Confirm where production data is hosted, appropriate security practices, encryption practices where relevant, backup practices, and which service providers have access to production data.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing AIPA, maintaining security, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

Different types of information may have different retention periods.

DEVELOPER/LEGAL CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Establish actual retention periods or retention criteria for accounts, completed assessments, photographs, Action Lists, backups, logs, transaction records, and deleted accounts.

8. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests

Users may request deletion of their accounts and associated personal information through AIPA’s available deletion mechanisms.

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Insert the exact in-app deletion pathway and external deletion-request URL or process before publication.

Subject to applicable law, users may also have rights to:

  • Access personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of certain uses of personal information where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based upon consent.

Certain information may be retained when required or permitted by law.

Privacy requests may be sent to [PRIVACY EMAIL].

We may need to verify the identity of the person making a request before acting on it.

9. Professional Users and Client Information

Professional users may enter information about clients, persons being supported, property owners, residents, or other individuals.

Professional users are responsible for determining whether they have appropriate authority, permission, or consent to provide that information to AIPA.

AIPA may act in different privacy roles depending upon the circumstances and applicable law.

Professional users should not use AIPA in a manner inconsistent with their own professional, contractual, confidentiality, or legal obligations.

10. Children

AIPA is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

AIPA does not knowingly permit children under 18 to create accounts.

This does not necessarily prohibit an authorized adult from assessing a home in which a minor resides, but users should avoid entering unnecessary personal information about minors.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

11. International and State Privacy Rights

Privacy rights vary by location.

Users may have additional rights under state, federal, national, or international privacy laws.

Where applicable law provides rights beyond those described in this Policy, AIPA will honor those rights as required.

LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: Before international expansion or substantial expansion into additional jurisdictions, review whether jurisdiction-specific disclosures, consent mechanisms, representatives, or other privacy requirements apply.

12. App Store and Platform Disclosures

Information disclosed in Apple’s App Privacy information, Google Play’s Data Safety section, AIPA’s website, and this Privacy Policy should accurately reflect AIPA’s actual production data practices.

DEVELOPER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED: Compare this Privacy Policy against the final production build, including all SDKs and third-party services, before submitting or updating App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AIPA, our data practices, or applicable requirements change.

The updated version will display a revised “Last updated” date.

When required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how personal information is processed.
